We already support over 2,000 businesses, including many educational establishments. Our experienced team have a breadth of knowledge in recycling legislation and on-the-ground knowledge of the local area.

Our entire operation is strategically based out of our depot at Waterbeach, making us a truly local operation. Our staff have the local knowledge to ensure we provide a flexible service tailored towards your specific requirements.  

Green to our core

We are proud to be green to our core. As a central theme of our business plan, we work passionately to support parish councils, local communities and businesses to respond to the climate and ecological emergencies, with our ambition of halving emissions by 2030 and putting us on the path to net zero by 2050. We are members of the carbon neutral business initiative and are committed to achieving 75% operational emissions reduction by 2030.

To support our journey to net zero, we have upgraded our head office in Cambourne to use less energy. We have also installed solar panels on our depot’s roof and carports to generate clean electricity. We are also building a solar-powered network at our depot to charge our electric bin lorries—helping us cut emissions and deliver greener waste services.

Sustainable fleet

We are the only waste carrier in Cambridgeshire with a fleet of 54 refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) including:

• 3 electric vans for our commercial team
• 4 electric lorries
• 30 running on HVO biofuel (cuts emissions by up to 90%)

We’re switching more vehicles to electric or HVO as older ones are replaced.

Social responsibility

The Council prioritises environment and social responsibility which supports many different local projects and initiatives. Last year this included:

• Over 50 community litter picks
• More than 1,000 fly-tip removals
• Recycling education campaigns
• Community grants

Every initiative we deliver, helps reduce costs for the local taxpayer by improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact. In addition to this, our account managers do not work on commission, so their advice is always in your best interest—not sales-driven.

Super simple pricing

We keep things straightforward. We do not believe in pushing extra charges onto our customers. You pay a set rate for commercial waste collections with no hidden extras.  

No VAT, no container rental or delivery charges or admin fees.

We also keep recycling prices low to encourage greener choices. As a local council-led service, we’re very competitive with our prices.

On-Site waste audits and educational presentations

We offer free on-site or online presentations to help your team understand recycling and sustainability. We also provide free waste audits to make sure you’re getting the best value and meeting your legal obligations.

Container type

We offer a range of commercial bin sizes to match your waste and recycling needs:

• 140 litres – Small bin used for food waste only
• 240 litres – Standard household-size bin (smallest option for general waste and recycling)
• 360 litres – Medium-sized bin
• 660 litres – Large steel bin with four wheels
• 1,100 litres – Extra-large steel bin with four wheels

We are a fully licensed waste carrier, ensuring all waste is collected, transported, and disposed of safely, legally, and in full compliance with environmental regulations.

We’re proud to hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, showing our commitment to delivering high-quality services while protecting the environment through responsible and sustainable practices.

You don’t need to separate your recycling into different bins. All recyclable materials are sorted and processed at our materials recovery facility, making recycling simple and hassle-free for your business.
